Question:
why does the majority of rich people in the Philippines are Chinese?

In search for funding, I find a truth that makes me wonder.
Chinese are richer than Filipinos.

I can't believe it first, but it's the fact.
Actually, not all are Chinese.
Most are Chinese.
There's also some American, Spanish, other nationality.

Talking to some people, and making a rough research on this subject matter.

The following is supposed to be the reason of there wealth:
Hard work - Chinese are said to work long hours.
Savings - Chinese saves a lot, save first before luxury.
Group business - Chinese have group them selves for business

These are they said to be the reason why Chinese are richer than Filipinos.

Let's analyze.

Filipinos are said to have the following:
Hard work -(kayod kalabaw) meaning carabaos load of work.
Savings - (ilocano or kuripot) saves more, less spending.
Group business - (bayanihan) helping one another.

So I conclude that Chinese and Filipinos have the same work, saving, and group ethics.

The results are different?
The Chinese are more successful than the Filipinos.

Why is that?

Chinese use Feng Shui ?
No, that's not it.
Some Filipinos also use Feng Shui. But there's still not rich like the Chinese.

There's one thing I notice, that maybe the cause why Chinese are richer.

Filipinos use spoon and fork to eat there meal.
Chinese use chopsticks.

Chinese are richer because they use chopsticks ? :)
