This are the list of some things an average person can have in America.
“Just work hard, what the rich can buy... you can buy”.
That's what my sister have told me a many many times.

An average carpenter in the states can earn him a living just enough to buy every thing on the list, and more.

Compare that in the Philippines.

An average carpenter, can't barely pay the rent of his small room.

Peso now is strong P 42 = $1

People have wondered if it's good news or a bad news.
Good news for someone who buy dollars for business.
Bad news if you sell you dollars, especially the OFW.

P 5,000 = $100 (in the past)
P 4,200 = $100 (today)

at least the electric power rate is lower due to low dollar :)
