    Can the internet become a source of income?

    A Computer is a source of income.
    Computer manufacturer sale computer Computer needs software to work

    Computer is Hardware Software

    The internet, what is it? Is it hardware? Is it Software? And does income can be generated from it?

    The answer is yes, it's a source of income.

    The following websites generate income from ADS Google Yahoo

    Each website is unique in using online ads.

    Google give user free use of there search engine. People who use there search engine, "view" Google ads. Business website place ads on Google's search results.

    Yahoo on the other hand also place ads on search results, But yahoo have other place to put there ads. They offer free Yahoo email. Users of yahoo email service see yahoo's ads.

    Website developer, also generate income from the internet.
