History of defeats
A tale of struggle with sadness

When is the last time you go to a battle
even you knew youíre going to lose the war?
Have you fight a losing battle?
Call a draw in the middle of a game because you knew youíre going to lose.
Waiting for somebody to throw the towel?
If you knew your going to lose why fight?
If the out come of the race is already decided why continue running?
Have you tried to ask somebody for a help
even if you knew before hand they wonít give a hand?
ďTrying wouldnít hurt ďthey say, but you knew itís only a waste of time.
Hurting in the body but fighting in the mind,
only your spirit is strong but your heart agrees to the pain.
Hearing youíre self ďstop enough alreadyĒ
at the same time reasoning youíre self "I can do this, I can do this".
The heart is hurting, you feel so sad.
The struggle is over whelming but you donít want to give in.
What you should do in a moment like this,
feels like even God who is watching cant do anything about it.
Waiting the next move?
Itís your turn now, and you donít know what to do.
Itís so quiet, even the birds donít sing.
As if they are mourning with you in silent.
Where are youíre friends now?
Who among them offer a hand?
Donít know what to say to your love ones,
donít want them feeling the same way.
Even if you told them they canít help.
Itís only up to you.
Nobody can help you now.
Looking for a wishing well?
Hoping to go back in time?
Even if you go back thereís nothing that you can do.
Its fix, decided, handed over. Thereís nothing you can do now.
Even youíre prayers wont do anything good.
So you accepted defeat, what now?
Itís a humbling experience, itís sad,
yes very sad but itís what life is for.
Is this life? Thatís all?
What else do you expect?
Every day itís a struggle for a war you already lose.
The only thing do to is to fight to the very end
hoping that even you already lose the war, you actually win the battle.
